WHY IS THIS INFORMATION REQUIRED?

Pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (hereinafter referred to as the 'Regulation'), this page describes the methods of processing personal data of users who visit the official website of the Portale Unico Valori - Stamps of the Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato S.p.A. (hereinafter referred to as "Poligrafico"), accessible electronically at the following address:

TYPES OF DATA PROCESSED AND PURPOSES OF PROCESSING

Navigation data

The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This category of data includes IP addresses or domain names of the computers and terminals used by users, URI/URL (Uniform Resource Identifier/Locator) addresses of the requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file received in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response provided by the server (successful, error, etc.), and other parameters related to the user’s operating system and IT environment. Such data, necessary for the use of web services, are processed to:

  • obtain statistical information on the use of services (most visited pages, number of visitors by time slot or daily, geographic areas of origin, etc.);
  • monitor the proper functioning of the services offered.

These data are used solely for the purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information about the use of the site and to monitor its proper functioning. Browsing data are not retained for more than 180 days (except in the case of criminal investigations by judicial authorities).

Data communicated by the user

The optional, explicit, and voluntary sending of email to the addresses provided on this site results in the subsequent acquisition of the sender's address, necessary to respond to the requests, as well as any other personal data included in the request. Optional personal data sent are stored for the time necessary to carry out the response activities and until the statute of limitations for actionable rights expires, as well as for the period prescribed by civil and regulatory laws. With regard to the personal data provided by the data subject in order to register on the site, reference is made to the Privacy Notice provided to the user during the registration process.

RECIPIENTS OF THE DATA

The personal data collected as a result of visiting the site are processed:

  • by personnel of the Poligrafico, who act based on specific instructions provided regarding the purposes and methods of the processing itself;
  • by individuals designated as System Administrators according to the Provision of the Data Protection Authority of 27 November 2008, as amended.

Furthermore, the recipients of the data collected as a result of visiting the site may also include companies providing IT professional services and/or maintenance of IT equipment, specifically designated – where necessary – by the Poligrafico, in accordance with Article 28 of the Regulation, as data processors.

RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT

Data subjects have the right to obtain, in the cases provided for, access to their personal data and the rectification or deletion of such data, or the restriction of processing concerning them, or to object to the processing (Articles 15 et seq. of the GDPR). RIGHT TO LODGE A COMPLAINT

Data subjects who believe that the processing of their personal data through this site is in violation of the provisions of the Regulation have the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority, as provided for by Article 77 of the Regulation, or to take appropriate legal action (Article 79 of the Regulation).
